Rapid City, South Dakota

So we made it only as far as Rapid City, but we got delayed today as the truck wouldn't start in Owatonna because it was 1 degree out feeling like -17 with wind chill. We had to wait for a repair man from Penske drive down from Eagan (closest that was open). We finally started out at 1:30 pm and made it to Rapid City by Midnight Mountain time. We've seen many funny signs and town names, saw a semi run into a cement block by a gas station, and played chinese firedrill with the road and our 26 foot truck and car carrier (total size 55 feet). We are exhausted and plan to get up to enjoy free breakfast and then hit the road to make it to Columbia Falls, Montana tomorrow.

Wish us luck and tell the wind to stay away, it makes driving much easier.
