Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am typing it early because I will be up early and busy in the kitchen all day. We are having 4 other people over for a 1:30 eating time.

Menu consists of:

turkey
ham
shrimp with cocktail sauce
strawberries with cream dip
mashed potatoes
sweet potatoes
brocolli cheesy rice casserole (better that green bean casserole)
Stuffing
Fruit salad
gravy
rolls

and for dessert:
home made apple pie
Iced pumpkin cookies

and warm citrus punch for drinks.


I have made the cookies and pie tonight and will start the turkey early. Then start the fruit salad then put the ham in and do the potatoes and stuffing at the end...

hmmmm hungry already.


I am so thanks for family and friends that care, good food, a great job, a thanksgiving without having to work (for the first time in three years), a forgiving lord and cell phones to call family we are away from this holiday!
